Two weeks ago, Chris and I packed up and rolled into Vegas for a few days of play time. Just a couple days into the trip, Chris received a phone call, a job offer from one of his top choices. I wish I had pictures. He kept pacing into the room giving me a thumbs up. We had to put our decision on hold for a few days while Chris continued to interview with a few other companies.
We didn't wait for responses from those last interviews. We are excited and feel great about our decision to move to. . .
DENVER, COLORADO!
He will be working with TriZetto doing something along the lines of market research and maybe finance. My mom continues to remind us that this is 'temporary'...it might be. (if you don't know, I'm the youngest child. It is rumored that I am the favorite. Really, Billie, my mom, would prefer all of her 6 children to move back to good old Idaho Falls.) He will start as an intern with the possibility of staying on in Denver, or maybe relocating even back to Utah or somewhere and traveling often. That option will be something to worry about later. Now, we are looking forward to uprooting and moving on. I keep pacing through our little apartment wondering where to start packing...then I remember we still have 3 weeks here and no boxes yet. Needless to say, we're antsy to start our adventure.

Pictured above: my sister Hayley. Running this Spring really has worked wonders for her. Doesn't she look great?!
