"Thank you for Penny, Grandma, Grandpa..."

It's funny how a week can pass so quickly, but also feel like it was forever ago. As I was thinking I better blog about Mark, Judy, and Spencer's visit here last week (Chris' parents and bro)... I thought, what did we do again? Looking at the pictures reminded me of some of the fun we had. Thomas never forgot though! I'll ask him most days, "Guess who we're going to see today?" His first response is usually, "Penny?!" (Spencer).
We did have a lot of fun. Some of our best adventures were totally unplanned. We ate an incredible meal at an Italian Restaurant, Maggiano's, visited Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Red Rocks, Ikea :), and the city of Golden. In Golden (which I hope to go back to because I had no idea, but it looks like a pretty cute town) we happened to discover Heritage Square, a little amusement park. We love exploring places we've never been in Colorado and it's pretty great to share it with family!

Thomas was pretty enthralled by Spenny and Chris' mad racing skills. Pretty intense racing out there... :)

Evy may look distraught, but she was enjoying her first forward-facing stroller ride. Thank goodness for Grandma Judy! We forgot our stroller, but Judy asked around, and a lady in a small shop rented her own to us for a few dollars. Made for a much easier trip!

Thomas riding the pony was just too funny to me...and probably a great workout for Grandpa Mark who had to hold him on. T did not grasp the concept of balance or holding the saddle and was easily distracted. Pretty great. :)

What are we doing, Judy?! Too funny not to post! haha
