"Shawty you da hottest..."

"...You can have whatever you like, yeah." About 3 a.m. on Thomas' second night of life, he was inconsolable unless he had been eating at least every hour. I did the c-section safety roll out of my hospital bed and sang this lovely lullaby (Thank you T.i. for the tender lyrics) to my boy and proceeded to feed him yet again. He obviously took these words to heart, as I'm still feeding on demand(not every hour anymore...well it has happened on occasion), then burping, changing diapers, and staring at my sweet boy, as long as I can stay awake and can avoid living a normal, productive life.
Last night was the first time that lack of sleep finally got to me. He was being especially spazzy. Demanding to eat and then just fooling around when I provided him food. Poor little T-Bomb is dealing with a case of thrush that bothers him just enough to prevent either of us from getting enough sleep. Hopefully, this medicine will do it's job quick! He finally zonked just before 6 a.m. Perfect timing for Chris' alarm clock to go off, which, of course, Chris never seems to hear so it kept ringing and ringing and...Thomas woke up again. I did shed a couple tears over that one.
I don't want to talk Thomas down though. :) We LOVE this awesome little guy and have had so much fun with him already.
The above photo perfectly depicts the state in which Thomas and I spend our day until about noon. I'm just trying to "enjoy every minute" like everyone says to do...that, or being completely lazy while enjoying every minute. I'm slowly working up to living a "real" life. I promise, I do get out. Actually, we make sure to get out at least once every day. My mom stressed the importance of doing so. "At least shower in the morning. You'll feel much better." she encouraged me. :)
Gram B with her favorite grandchild ever, I'm sure!
My slave, I mean my mom visited for a few days last week. Dinners, treats, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, weeding, watering plants, dusting, baby loving, get-daughter-out-of-house-ing! This lady never stopped! It was fantastic!
My brother and his wife visited with their 6 children for less than 2 hours. It was a fun whirlwind of energetic bodies with treats and games. Thomas poses with Baerett, his oldest cousin. Cute faces, guys!
Thomas was really hurting for attention, as you can see, when Grandma and Grandpa Young brought two of his uncles to visit. Again, our family went to work! Spraying for bugs, lots of yard work, yummy dinners out, and home-made strawberry ice cream!
